Food Allergies

All food allergy notifications are due one week prior to your event, and need to be submitted via email so we have a written record to reference. When submitting, allergies should be listed by name and allergy so we can make sure each individual is taken care of. (For example, Mary W: Dairy & Shellfish). Unfortunately, we cannot accept lists that say “Some vegetarians and a few dairy allergies” as we want to make sure we can focus time and resources on guests that we are certain about.

Currently we can accommodate most food allergies, however cannot accommodate individual eating plans & diets such as keto, kosher, and Whole 30. While we do have vegetarian and vegan items (especially if a group has informed us that their group prefers vegetarian based meals), we cannot guarantee full vegan or vegetarian substitutions for each item on the menu.

Once the final count and all allergies are submitted, our Food Service Manager will create a menu that can best accommodate the groups we will be serving. When completed, the Retreat Center Director can email group leaders a copy of the menu, so that it can be distributed to those with concerns. Supplementary items can be brought in by guests with concerns and stored in the fridge and freezer as needed. There is a microwave in the Dining Hall that can be accessed as well. Standard pricing applies to all guests regardless of what they may or may not be eating. For severe medical issues, some exceptions can be made; please inquire with the Retreat Center Director.
